Please read and familiarise yourself with the terms and conditions of use as detailed below. By continuing to use the site, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions. Please contact us if you have any questions.

Booking

To reserve your place on a Fantastic Roads Tour, a deposit as specified on each itinerary is required. This deposit guarantees your place on the tour and requires you to pay the full outstanding amount of the trip fee 10 weeks prior to departure. Your payment of the deposit also confirms your acceptance of all terms and conditions as laid out here. If booking is made less than 10 weeks before departure, then the full amount is due on reservation. Please note if full payment is not received by the due date, we reserve the right to cancel your booking as laid out in our cancellation policy.

You have the right to cancel the booking at any time within seven working days from the day after the date that you made the booking. You can do this by contacting us by email to cancellations@fantasticroads.com and we will fully refund the deposit paid. If the trip that you have booked takes place within the statutory seven day cooling off period, there will be no refund if you cancel. After the statutory cooling off period, the following will apply:

Cancellation by You

All cancellations must be in writing and will incur charges as below

More than 70 days deposit only

29 to 70 days 50% of tour cost

Within 28 days 100% of tour cost

The cancellation period will be calculated from the date we receive written notice of cancellation to the date the tour starts.

Payments for extras such as guided tours and excursions provided by parties other than Fantastic Roads Ltd. will be subject to the terms and conditions of the third party supplier

To protect against losing any of the fees as above you must take out suitable insurance to cover any form of cancellation or withdrawal from a tour.

Cancellation by Us

In the event of cancellation by us for whatever reason we will offer you an alternative tour if one is available. You will be able to use any fee paid against the cost of the alternative. If you do not wish to take this option, we will provide a full refund of all fees paid including the deposit to Fantastic Roads Ltd.

We have the right to dismiss you from the tour if at any time we are made aware of any inappropriate, illegal, or antisocial behavior. In such a case you will not be entitled to any refund and we will not be liable for any additional costs you may incur.

The Price

The price quoted on the web site is the price per person (except where explicitly stated otherwise) and is based upon 2 people sharing a car, hotel room and where applicable a ferry cabin. If single occupancy of a hotel is required and or only 1 person is travelling in a car then this may incur a surcharge. The price will be confirmed at the time of booking.

Price Changes

All charges will be calculated based upon the tourist exchange rate at the time of booking. Changes due to Government action such as but not limited to levies, taxes, or fees over which we have no control may result in alteration to charges without notice.

Where possible we will fix our prices with third party suppliers, however where this has not been possible and third-party costs are increased we may pass these costs on to you.

In the event of any changes as above resulting in the tour price increasing by less than 2% Fantastic Roads Ltd. will absorb the cost. Any increase above this will require further payment. If the increase amounts to more than 10% of the price confirmed at time of booking, then you have the option of a full refund of fees paid.
