A short drive into France and a superb Sunday lunch. A great introduction to Fantastic Roads and our approach to touring.
This short trip is the perfect introduction to our tours and a great starter if you have never driven abroad. Organised in exactly the same way as our longer trips with full route instructions and professional licensed radios for each car. A great way to meet us and sample our approach to touring. Our trip commences at the Eurotunnel terminal and once into France we have a short drive along the coast from Calais and then head inland for a superb three course lunch at our selected Chateau. The return trip to Calais is on the Autoroute with a small toll to pay. Our drive takes on on a variety of roads and gives a sample of what to expect when driving on the continent. Total distance covered in France 80 miles, driving time around 2 hours
Itinerary
Meet at LeShuttle terminal at 08:00. Time for a coffee and introductions
Depart Folkestone on the 09:30 tunnel crossing
Arrive at the chateau around 13:00
Lunch at 13:30
Depart 16:30 for the short return trip to the tunnel

Return tunnel crossing for 1 standard car
Three course lunch including coffee or tea for two persons
What is not Included
Drinks, fuel, tolls and other miscellaneous costs.
Even though this is a short trip you will need to take out breakdown cover and travel insurance for your car and all passengers.
Should you require your car to be booked on the high or wide space deck there will be a supplement of £12.00.
